The series will be produced by LIDENFILMS, known for titles such as Tokyo Revengers and Call of the Night.
Historie is one of Iwaaki’s long-running and deeply personal works, serialized in Afternoon magazine since 2003. Known for his other acclaimed series like Parasyte, Iwaaki brings his signature storytelling style to this historical epic.
